Ray is managing director of henry&hymas. Ray has an impeccable record and provides powerful leadership to the business. Ray has been director of henry&hymas since 1997 providing leadership for structural design and project delivery. Ray is customer focused, highly responsive and a great communicator. Ray has a keen appreciation of how to deliver integrated engineering, identifying design conflicts, recommending options and promoting solutions. These skills have earned Ray an excellent reputation in the structural industry and is appreciated by architects, developers and builders.

Ray has championed the benefits of tilt up construction since the 1990’s when the first tilt-up design was used for a retail development in NSW. Since this time tilt-up construction has become the preferred method for many developers.

Ray has worked as a structural engineer since graduating from the University of Technology Sydney in 1984 with First Class Honours. He joined henry&hymas in 1989 and was mentored by senior engineers focusing on the design and documentation of economical structural solutions for industrial, commercial, retail and residential projects. Ultimately Ray’s desire is to deliver technically sound, understandable, buildable and economical solutions to meet our client needs and expectations. This commitment is the key to the growth and success of henry&hymas.
